Parent Support & Guidance

Our approach is collaborative, respectful and tailored to your family’s unique needs.

Parenting is complex, and when a child is experiencing social, communication or developmental differences, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Kindred Kids Early Intervention offers practical, evidence-informed guidance to support families in understanding their child’s development and building confidence in everyday strategies that strengthen connection and learning.

Parent Support & Guidance sessions are available to:

Families whose children are accessing ESDM intervention

Families considering early intervention

Parents seeking guidance around behaviour, communication or social development

Families wanting practical strategies to support their child at home

Parents looking to create consistency between home and early learning environments

You do not need to be enrolled in formal intervention to access support.

What We Focus On

Sessions are individualised and may include:

Understanding your child’s developmental profile

Interpreting behaviours of concern

Supporting communication development

Strengthening social engagement and connection

Building emotional regulation strategies

Developing practical, play-based learning opportunities at home

Creating consistency across environments

Our goal is not to overwhelm families with theory it is to provide clear, practical strategies that can be implemented immediately.

How Sessions Work

Parent Support sessions are delivered via telehealth, allowing flexibility and accessibility for families.

Sessions may be:

– 30 minutes

– 60 minutes

– Scheduled as required

Funding options include:

– NDIS

– Private funding

– Third-party arrangements
